For the past six months, my boyfriend and I have made it a tradition to have taco night almost every Tuesday. Tacos were a staple in my household while growing up, and I’ve carried on the tradition because, honestly, who can resist the deliciousness of tacos? Since I have been on my own health journey; I’ve come up with a gut friendly, gluten free, taco recipe with simple ingredients that’s sure to satisfy your cravings and leave you wanting more.
Ingredients:
1 lb. grass fed ground beef or ground bison (I order my meat from Buy Ranch Direct)
1 Packet of taco seasoning (I use the Siete brand)
Corn tortillas (I use the brand Vista Hermosa made by Tacombi, these have only 4 ingredients)
Tomatoes (I use cherry tomatoes but any tomato is fine)
Red Onion
Cilantro
2 Limes
1-2 Avocados
Sea salt
Sauerkraut (I use Hawthrone Foods brand, any brand that is fermented with live cultures is fine)
Watercress sprouts (any type of sprouts works)
